Every successful training plan starts with understanding the dog in front of us. That’s why all new clients begin with an Assessment Session — a one-on-one consultation designed to evaluate your dog’s behaviour, your goals, and the environment you live in.
Our approach is structured, evidence-based, and tailored to your household.
This session provides the clarity needed to build the right plan — not just a fast one.
During your Assessment, we will:
Evaluate your dog’s behaviour, temperament, and current skills
Discuss your concerns, challenges, and long-term training goals
Review environmental factors that may be influencing behaviour
Identify gaps in foundation work
Provide guidance on what you can start immediately
Recommend next steps and appropriate training pathways
Build a customized training plan designed specifically for your dog and your family
After Your Assessment
You will receive a detailed written recap outlining:
What we observed
What we discussed
Clear, actionable steps to begin implementing
Your individualized training plan and recommended next appointments
Your recap will list your dog’s triggers, learning patterns, and the first foundation steps necessary to begin behaviour change immediately.
These follow-ups are one of the core components of our program, and clients tell us they rely on them daily.

Integrity matters. If at any point during your assessment we determine your dog’s needs fall outside our scope, you will not be charged for the session.

Every dog learns differently. Each session is tailored to your dog’s temperament, learning style, and current goals—whether we’re addressing obedience, reactivity, engagement, confidence-building, or foundational skills.

Dog Walking

Our Solo Dog Walks provide structured exercise, mental enrichment, and reinforcement of real-world leash skills — right in your neighbourhood. This isn’t just a walk; it’s a training-focused outing designed to build better habits over time. Walks are conducted by a trainer, not a casual walker.
