Terms and Conditions for Kairo's K9s Store

Effective Date: December 24, 2025
These Store Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to purchases made through Kairo’s K9s Training (“we,” “us,” “our”) via our online store (the “Store”).

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

2) Eligibility

By purchasing, you confirm you are at least 18 years old (or have permission from a parent/guardian) and that the information you provide at checkout is accurate and complete.

 

3) Orders, Payment, and Order Refusals

  • All prices are shown in CAD unless stated otherwise.

  • Taxes are applied as required.

  • Payment is due at checkout.

  • We may refuse, cancel, or limit quantities at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory issues. If we cancel after payment, we’ll issue a refund to the original payment method.

4) Product Information & Availability

We aim to describe products accurately. However:

  • Colors/materials may appear different on screens.

  • Availability can change quickly.

  • If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, we’ll contact you with options (refund, substitution, or backorder where applicable).

5) Local Delivery Policy (Saskatoon + Area)

  • Delivery radius: within 50 km of Saskatoon, SK

  • Flat-rate delivery fee: $7.00

  • Free delivery: orders $200+ (within the delivery area)

Delivery timing:

  • We will provide an estimated delivery window after purchase.

  • Delivery timelines can vary due to weather, road conditions, and scheduling.

  • If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address details or no safe drop-off option, we’ll contact you to arrange re-delivery or pickup (additional fees may apply).

6) Pickup (if offered)

If pickup is offered for certain orders, pickup instructions and timelines will be provided after purchase. Orders not picked up within a reasonable timeframe may be refunded or restocked at our discretion (subject to any restocking/processing costs where permitted by law).

 

7) Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Because many of our items relate to hygiene and animal safety, we use the following policy (subject to applicable consumer protection laws):

A) Non-returnable items (for safety/hygiene):

  • Opened treats, chews, food, supplements, or edible items

  • Any product that has been used, worn, chewed, soiled, or is not in resalable condition

B) Returnable items (unused, like-new condition):

  • Training equipment (e.g., clickers) and gear only if unused, in original condition/packaging where applicable

Return window: Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to request a return or exchange.
Return shipping: Unless the item is defective or we made an error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Damaged or incorrect orders:
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, email Info@KairosK9s.ca within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the item(s) and packaging
    We’ll assess and provide a remedy (replacement, exchange, or refund as appropriate).

8) Gear Warranty (Adventure Tails Dog Gear)

Adventure Tails products include a 1-year warranty, excluding damage caused by:

  • Dog chewing, biting, or destructive use

  • Negligent use, misuse, or improper care

  • Normal wear and tear

To request a warranty review, email us with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos. Final warranty decisions may involve the manufacturer/maker.

 

9) Third-Party Brands & Manufacturer Policies

Some products are made by third parties (e.g., treats, enrichment items, gear makers). Where applicable:

  • Manufacturer warranties may apply

  • Ingredient sourcing, allergen info, and product suitability remain the responsibility of the manufacturer
    If you need specific ingredient/allergen details, contact us before purchase.

10) Pet Safety Disclaimer (Important)

All products sold are intended for use with dogs under appropriate supervision.

  • Chews, treats, and enrichment items: Always supervise. Choose size/type appropriate to your dog. Discontinue use if splintering, choking risk, or gastrointestinal upset occurs.

  • Gear: Ensure proper fit. Inspect regularly for wear. Replace if compromised.
    We are not responsible for injury, illness, or damage resulting from improper use, lack of supervision, or use contrary to product guidance.

11) Training Packages Sold in the Store

If you purchase training or walking packages through the Store, the service itself is governed by our Booking / Service Terms & Conditions (cancellation policies, assessment requirements, session rules, etc.). The Store Terms govern the purchase transaction, not the training outcomes.

 

12) Gift Cards

Gift cards may be offered in the Store.

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and have no cash value (except where required by law).

  • You are responsible for safeguarding the gift card code; treat it like cash.

  • Gift cards purchased and sold in Saskatchewan generally cannot have an expiry date, except for limited exceptions (e.g., certain promotional cards). (Government of Saskatchewan)

  • If fraud is suspected, we may pause redemption while we investigate.

13) Intellectual Property

All Store content (text, images, logos, branding) is owned by Kairo’s K9s Training or used with permission and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reuse Store content without written permission.

 

14) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kairo’s K9s Training will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from Store use or product purchase/use.

 

15) Privacy

Purchasing through the Store requires collection of personal information (e.g., name, email, address) to process orders and delivery. Please refer to our Privacy Policy (or contact us) for details on how information is used and stored.

 

16) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Saskatchewan, Canada, and applicable federal laws.

 

17) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Store after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
